In its fifth year, Barut Hotels' We Care All Sustainability Awareness movement is planting 5,000 seed balls in the Muğla region. On the occasion of Forest Week, the seeds will be thrown into the areas designated by e-cording and the General Directorate of Forestry at regular intervals between March and May.

Seed balls made by women meet nature through conscious hands and technology
Red pine and larch seed balls are introduced to the soil through a detailed and self-sacrificing process, from preparation to dropping to the field and follow-up. The social enterprise e-cording, which continues its activities to support the local economy, create income for women in rural areas, and bring the seed balls they prepare together with nature through partners, has brought 15 million seed balls to the soil since 2019.

Supporting Reforestation Efforts in the Aegean Region
Following the forest fires in recent years, which have caused great sadness in our country, reforestation efforts are being carried out with drones in areas chosen by public institutions. This year, We Care All, which supports the reforestation efforts in the Aegean region, will also monitor the development of seed balls planted in hard-to-reach areas thanks to unmanned aerial vehicles ecoDrones. Stating that when the Antalya region is included in the seed ball program, they will also support the forests in this region, Birgül Akgül, Head of the We Care All Sustainability Committee, stated: "We decided to celebrate the fifth anniversary of We Care All by throwing 5,000 seed balls into nature, which is one of the most important elements of sustainability, during Forest Week. We are excitedly following the process from preparing the seed balls of red pine and larch pines to their release and follow-up. We will continue to develop projects for the region's benefit with our We Care All sustainability committee."
